What is the Delta Impact Score?

The Delta Impact Score is a real-time percentage that measures the impact of total project feedback against the impact of the feedback your team has addressed. This score visualizes the influence your delta testing project has had on product success overall.

Why is the Delta Impact Score important?

Ever wondered about the actual impact a user testing project has had on your product? Or the value of your user testing testing efforts on product development overall? The Delta Impact Score helps teams quantify that. It can help teams determine the Return-on-Investment (ROI) of a project, because not knowing how useful a user testing project is makes it impossible for modern development and product teams to understand its value.

How is the Delta Impact Score calculated?

The Delta Impact Score is the percent change of a product's original satisfaction score compared to its new score post-feedback implementation. It calculates how much better the product has gotten since feedback has been resolved.

(ND - OD)/OD x 100 = Delta Impact Score

ND = New Delta Success Score
OD = Original Delta Success Score

Example

You originally have a Delta Success Score of 30, but after your development and product teams make some significant changes by addressing critical issues, they are able to get the success score to 60. The Delta Impact Score would be 100%.

Or say your Delta Success Score is at 15 and your team was able to update the product with improvements and resolve a handful of feedback. The new score is shown as a 65, making your Delta Impact Score 333%.
