A New Name
With this release we’ve officially dropped the Connect moniker, with the platform simply being referred to as Centercode, and this release being Centercode July 2014.
Pricing and Edition Changes
Along with this change, we’re introducing new editions of the platform designed to address a wide range of beta programs. You can read more about our new editions on our pricing page. In addition, we’ve removed monthly options, instead focusing on helping companies leverage the full value of our platform by building persistent long-term beta programs. In doing so, we’ve tuned our Managed Beta offering for companies focused on getting a single product to market.
For Our Current Customers
We began rolling out these new features to our existing customers over the past few weeks and all our customers will be upgraded to the new release soon. Our current customers are unaffected by our pricing and edition changes. You’re free to keep your prior edition with your current price and term. Prior Project Edition customers will receive the features of the new Standard Edition, while prior Program and Enterprise Edition customers will receive all new features.
These changes are designed to take beta testing to a new level and we can’t wait to see what you do with them!
