In our latest case study, we take a look at how the Centercode platform has helped international software company Esri build and broaden their beta testing program. Esri had been relying on an in-house beta program to test its mapping and geographic information software, but the system was cumbersome and needed to be spun up and down for each beta test.
This approach created three main challenges for the Esri team. First, they struggled to recruit the large numbers of testers they needed for each beta test. Second, their system presented a disjointed testing experience, which affected tester participation. Third, not all of Esri’s products were benefiting from beta testing because the team could only justify using the system for their flagship products. The Esri team decided they needed a new solution to help them build a large, persistent beta program that could meet their needs year-round.
